1. Eligibility & Authority

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.

2. The Services

Seal provides identity and access infrastructure, including authentication, authorization, SSO, audit logs, and related developer tools.

The Services may evolve over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

Your use of the Services is not contingent on future features or functionality.

3. Accounts, API Keys & Security

You are responsible for:

  • All activity under your account
  • Keeping credentials and API keys secure
  • Ensuring your users comply with these Terms

You must promptly notify us if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use poses a security risk or violates these Terms.

4. License & Usage

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to access and use the Services solely for your internal business purposes and as integrated into your own product.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Circumvent usage limits or security controls
  • Resell or provide the Services on a standalone basis
  • Use the Services to build or operate a competing product
  • Use the Services for unlawful or abusive purposes

5. Open Source Components

Certain components of Seal may be released as open-source software and are governed by their respective licenses.

These Terms apply only to the hosted Services and proprietary components. Open-source software is provided "as is" under its applicable license.

6. Customer Data & Privacy

You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Services ("Customer Data").

You grant us a limited right to process Customer Data solely to operate, secure, and improve the Services, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any applicable data protection agreements.

You represent that you have the legal right to collect, use, and share Customer Data.

You are responsible for backing up your Customer Data.

7. Fees & Payment (If Applicable)

Certain features may require payment and be subject to usage limits.

  • Fees and limits are described on our website or order forms
  • Fees are non-refundable unless required by law
  • We may update pricing with reasonable notice

You are responsible for applicable taxes.

8. Confidentiality & Intellectual Property

Each party agrees to protect the other's non-public business, technical, or financial information.

We retain all rights to the Services, including software, documentation, and related intellectual property, except for Customer Data and open-source components.

Feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction or compensation.

9. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Services in a way that:

  • Violates laws or regulations
  • Infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Distributes malware or harmful code
  • Interferes with the operation or security of the Services

We reserve the right to investigate and take action as needed.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available."

We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability will not exceed the fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Seal from claims arising out of:

  • Your use of the Services
  • Your product and users
  • Your Customer Data
  • Your violation of these Terms

13. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or fail to pay applicable fees.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], excluding conflict-of-law principles.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.
